Confess by Colleen Hoover (Spoilers)

Confess, another book written by Colleen Hoover. This one I was again impressed with and makes me wanna give It Ends With Us one more try. This book had you questioning everything about these made up characters. What was truth and what was a lie? In the beginning it starts with Auburn and the first love of her life when she was fifteen (or sixteen). He ended up dying. The moment was heartbreaking for all sensitive readers. This book skipps forward a few years to when she is older now (21 to be exact). She's in an office meeting with a lawyer about something very important. After her office meeting she finds the art studio, confess. Where people write there anonymous confessions and Owen makes beautiful paintings out of them. She ends up getting a job for Owen. He hired her knowing her from a previous time, but she didn't know him. Of course as the book goes on things grow between the two, creating a beautiful love story. But it wasn't always beautiful. They began to revea...

(Spoilers and Possible Triggers) Let me start this off by saying when I first read this book I was not in a great place. I had been depressed for almost 3 years at this point. When I read the book it triggered a lot of emotion I was not completely ready to face yet. So I know it's still one of those big hype that everyone is talking about with the show being a great hit. But if you are to watch it or you're going to read the book and you have a history of any mental illness just be aware of the triggers it can cause. Also if you are currently going through something please reach out. There are all types of hotlines, or teachers, even strangers (myself included) that are willing to help you. 13 Reasons Why: A book based on a girl named Hannah committing suicide. Wonder By R.J Palacio

Image
I just finished Wonder by R.J Palacio. This book is just wow. It has a bunch of different perspectives and each one shows there own little issue but it always revolves around the main character. It's such a great feel good book and the way it was written was spectacular. I was so happy I picked up this book. It's a huge recommended book from me. Whether you're an adult and wanna read it or a middle schooler it's a great time for all. Thank you RJ Palacio for writing this. Spoilers!!!! So the main character August has a deformation issue with his face. The book Wonder shows a journey through his first year of middle school. His first year in a public school. Before fifth grade he was homeschooled his whole life. I am honestly so glad that it shows the struggle not just with August but with all the characters and it shows the acceptance and self love that everyone in the end truly needed. It makes you feel good that August was able to make such good friends with Jack W...

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover (Spoilers)

Let me be honest, I speak highly of Colleen Hoover. Any time I am asked what my favorite book it 9/10 times I will say Hopeless.  I began It Ends With Us blind. I had no idea what the hell I was going to be reading when I picked it up. And for that I only made it half way through the book. But wait! Let me explain before you decide me unworthy of your time.   Lily didn't annoy me when I picked it up and I fell in love with Ryle. But the Lily kept talking about this boy from her past Atlas and let me tell you, that got on my nerves. Here she was with this perfect person and day dreaming about a boy who left her. When they introduced Atlas into her present day was when I began to get more frustrated. But then Ryle and Lily had a conflict. He pushed her and that was not okay with me. I'm a strong, stubborn, hardheaded woman and I pictured Lily to be too with her past. So when she forgave him and acted like everything was okay that is when I made the decisi...
