Wonder By R.J Palacio

I just finished Wonder by R.J Palacio. This book is just wow. It has a bunch of different perspectives and each one shows there own little issue but it always revolves around the main character. It's such a great feel good book and the way it was written was spectacular.

I was so happy I picked up this book. It's a huge recommended book from me. Whether you're an adult and wanna read it or a middle schooler it's a great time for all. Thank you RJ Palacio for writing this.

Spoilers!!!!

So the main character August has a deformation issue with his face. The book Wonder shows a journey through his first year of middle school. His first year in a public school. Before fifth grade he was homeschooled his whole life. I am honestly so glad that it shows the struggle not just with August but with all the characters and it shows the acceptance and self love that everyone in the end truly needed. It makes you feel good that August was able to make such good friends with Jack Will and Summer.

The feeling I got when his older sister Via developing relationships. You see old broken and bruised relationships building and becoming strong and unbreakable.  The fuzzy feeling I got toward the end of the book when the whole fifth grade class accepted him with open arms was phenomenal. I just think that this book is the star of something amazing and will carry on to be something exquisite. The love that I have for this book is unexplainable in all types of way. If you haven't thought about picking this book up or if you've thought about it but decided it may be to childish for you, I wholeheartedly reccomend picking it up and exploring the wonderful pages within.
