A Court of Thorns and Roses.
I just finished A Court of Thorns and Roses. So this book is fresh on my mind. Let me start this off by saying I have such a huge thing for any and all types of Beauty and the Beast retellings. I plan
on reaing as many as I can, it is one of my favorite fairy tales after all. I heard about this book right around the time it came out but it took me a while to pick it up. Not because it didn’t catch my interest of because
it was a bad book. I had gotten the Ebook version first and when I started that it was a little harder for me to read. I had to go out and buy the physical book. I had started it and started it over several times. I had a
big issue with continuing because I hadn’t yet developed a taste for the fantasy genre yet. When my reading had avanced a little more I was finally able to pick it up. So even if it is a young adult book you should probably
have a more mature sense of reading or really be into fantasy.
Anyways, now to the actual review on the book. The writing and plot line to this book is definitely a big reason to rank it in a top favorite books slot. Its so beautifully written and detailed. It creates
these characters in your head that make you feel. You feel for the main girl Feyre when she’s living a poor life style with her family. You feel for Tamlin and the whole spring court for the curse that was set. You feel
for Lucien and the family he doesn’t have. Even as the book goes on you even feel for Rhysand. You create this love for the characters even the small little one. You get this hatred for Amarantha and the pettiness that
comes with her. But you also feel sad for her. For the sister she lost and the love she can’t get on her own.
I am not going to lie and say I didn’t fall in love with Tamlin through this book because I really did. There was something heroic about him and maybe a little sad if I am being perfectly honest.
But towards the end of the book there was something about Rhysand that just made me want him as my own. Made me want him to end up with Feyre. The love I feel towards him makes me just ugh... do you know that feeling?
There honestly wasnt anything that made me angry about this book it is definitely a 9/10 type of book. I would give it a 10/10 but i feel like the ones that follow this one A court of mist and furty are
going to be just as good if not better. I do reccomend picking it up if you haven’t. Tell me what you though of the book and your opinions about it. I would lve to hear it.
