Confess by Colleen Hoover (Spoilers)

Confess, another book written by Colleen Hoover. This one I was again impressed with and makes me wanna give It Ends With Us one more try. This book had you questioning everything about these made up characters. What was truth and what was a lie?

In the beginning it starts with Auburn and the first love of her life when she was fifteen (or sixteen). He ended up dying. The moment was heartbreaking for all sensitive readers. This book skipps forward a few years to when she is older now (21 to be exact). She's in an office meeting with a lawyer about something very important. After her office meeting she finds the art studio, confess. Where people write there anonymous confessions and Owen makes beautiful paintings out of them. She ends up getting a job for Owen. He hired her knowing her from a previous time, but she didn't know him. Of course as the book goes on things grow between the two, creating a beautiful love story.
But it wasn't always beautiful. They began to reveal and find out secrets about one another. Secrets like Auburn has a kid with Adam, Owen got arrested for possession, Auburn doesn't have custody of her son, and Owens dad was a pill addict. You find out these truths throughout the book. But one thing you never find out is How does Owen know her!? Until the last chapter. Owen knows her through Adam. His dad was in the same hospital as Adam around the days he died. Adam gave him is love for Art. Adam knew they could be fate. The ending is beautiful of course. She gets her son, charges on Owen are dropped, they get rid of Trey. Trey while an important character in the book, I don't quite like him so all I'll tell you is he was a bad man throughout all of this.
So now that that is over can we talk about Lydia? The Grandmother to Auburn's kid. How horrendous was she. She made me want to strangle her thought the whole book. And she wasn't even a real big character! And Owen, I swear that man is the love of my life.

All in all this was such a great read and I really do recommend anyone to give reading a CoHo book a shot. You really can't regret it. Especially if you decide on Confess or Hopeless. I give it a 9/10 stars.
